Just been to a talk by the guy behind that video - Aaron Koblin - at Futuresonic. Nice guy, and his work is pretty interesting in general. Uses Processing a lot, and studied under Casey Reas at UCLA which is pretty sweet.
He about the same age as you and me mate. I cycled home pretty quickly to get some work done.
